Description

Tutmanik is a bulgarian traditional cheese bread usually made from white flour and white cheese. It usually takes more time to prepare, but now I offer you an easy and quick recipe for it. The recipe is actually from my aunt's old notebooks. The aroma and taste of this tutmanik take me back to my childhood, carefree years. Then by the time we woke up, it was ready for breakfast. Before baking it you can put small pieces of butter on top or after it is baked and still warm, grease it with butter to make it more fragrant.

1 In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the yogurt with the soda, olive oil and crumbled cheese. Stir.

2 Finally add the flour and a pinch of salt. Stir well. A sticky dough is obtained.

3 Put baking paper in a baking tray with a diameter of 26 cm. Pour the dough into the middle of the baking tray and spread with a spoon or spatula gently.

4 Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven about 25 minutes or until the tutmanik gets golden brown.
