Description

Let me mention that lavash is Armenian thin and soft bread made from wheat flour, water and salt. It is very suitable for quick pizzas or sandwiches. And homemade crispy lavash chips have been a hit at home lately. It is prepared easily and quickly. You can prepare it with different spices to taste. Our favourite is red pepper. It is difficult to determine the amount of spices you should use because there are different types of lavash on the market. But I will describe to you how I prepare it and I am convinced that you can't go wrong!

1 In a bowl pour olive oil (for a round crust I use about 2 tablespoons), and add a little salt and spice of your choice - it can be paprika, savory, oregano, basil, or you can also press a little garlic (it turns out very tasty and fragrant).

2 Mix olive oil with spices, because they stick better to the crust. Using a brush, spread on the crust. You can bake the whole crust without cutting it, but you can also cut it into rectangles, triangles, sticks or whatever shape you want (I admit that when I don't have much time, I bake them whole and then break them). Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, preferably with a large tray.

3 Bake in a preheated 200-degree oven for 4 to 5 minutes. Baking time depends on your oven. I get perfect crispy lavash chips when baked for four and a half minutes. If you bake chips with paprika and garlic, be careful not to overcook it, because paprika will burn.

Try it! It's easy. It's fast. It's delicious. I hope you find out what your taste is and share!
