The zoo in Pitesti, Romania, is located in the natural Forest Park "Trivale" and it was definitely a pleasant destination to visit, both for us and for the children. The park is well-groomed, with beautiful vegetation and has 130 animals of 39 species. In the terrarium there are different types of reptiles such as snakes and crocodile.
In the center of the park there was a large playground, so if you are with children, you can spend couple of hours there.
The Golesti Museum is located 10 km from Pitesti, on the left bank of the Arges river, in the village of Golesti, Romania.

During our visit to Romania, the locals had recommended that we go to lake Vidraru. It was definitely not on my list of places I wanted to visit in the transylvanian part of Romania, but once the locals directed us to it, we had to go.
