White elderflower and acacia flower syrup

Description
In May every year the aromas of elder and acacia flowers intoxicate us. We usually dry them for tea in the winter, and now while they are fresh we also consume them as tea every morning. This year, for the first time, I decided to try making a syrup from them. I have already made several doses of this recipe and decided to share it with you.
1 In a large pot pour the brown sugar and 3 liters of cold water. Stir periodically. In about 10 minutes the sugar will dissolve. Meanwhile, prepare the flowers.
2 It is best to pick the flowers from a clean place so that you do not need to wash them. Shake them well, because there may be small bugs on them. If you still need to wash them, do not overdo it, so as not to wash away the useful substances from the flowers (pollen).
3 Add the lemon juice and flowers to the water with sugar. If possible, press the flowers with something so that they can be completely covered. For this purpose I put a plate. Leave the pot with the lid on at room temperature for at least 24 hours, during this time you can stir the flowers 1-2 times.
4 Finally, strain the syrup through a fine strainer or cheesecloth and pour it into a glass container (in jars with a screw cap or a container with an airtight seal). Store in the refrigerator.
Before consumption, dilute with water (or carbonated water) to your taste. You can cut mint leaves inside or slices of lemon. Put ice cubes and enjoy.
