Delicious and soft bread rolls with butter and cheese, suitable for breakfast.

25 min. preparation

1 hour rising the dough

20 min. baking at 200 °c

16 pieces

Description

1 Add the dry yeast and sugar to the warm water. If you don't have dry yeast , use half a cube of fresh yeast. Stir to be able to dissolve well and leave for 2-3 minutes aside.

2 Until the yeast is dissolved, pour the flour and salt into a deeper bowl and make a well. Prepare the cheese for the filling by crushing it in a separate container.

3 Add olive oil (or oil) to the liquid ingredients and gradually stir with the flour. Knead a soft dough. I haven't had a need to add extra flour, even when roll out.

4 Divide the dough into 16 beads. Roll out each in an elliptical shape (you can see the pictures below in the gallery). Put a small lump of butter, a tablespoon of crumbled cheese and roll on a roll.

5 Arrange the bread rolls in a large baking pan with baking paper. Cover them with a towel and leave for 1 hour to rise.

6 Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden.

Recipe
Feta cheese sticks with spelt flour, for which you will need more yogurt, butter and eggs. You can sprinkle them with spices or seeds according to your taste - sesame, poppy seeds, flaxseed, paprika, savory. I personally like them with paprika and sesame. They become quite a lot, so you can try different flavors. White spelt flour can be successfully replaced with white flour.
