5 Ideas for homemade food for school

I decided to photograph the boxes of food I prepare my son's daily for school, and I hope that the publication, as well as the next ones, will be useful for someone.

The food in the school is not a good option for us for several reasons. My son (as perhaps many of the children) has his own food preferences and the food in school is not an option for him. I prefer food to be homemade and to know with what products is prepared, so arranging a box every day is a pleasure. I look to always have vegetables and fruits, and he always looking for them. Especially salads... If there's a way I can only send a salad to him, he wil be most pleased. In the morning it has breakfast at home, and at 10:00 am I prepare freshly squeezed juice or smoothie for school. I put the bottle in a thermos bag, and in the hot days I put an ice cube inside. If you wonder why the meat is not present in the boxes – this is not the preferred food in our kitchen. We emphasize on other types of proteins such as eggs, cheese, yogurt, as well as plant sources of proteins such as nuts, grains, legumes.
