Get to know Bulgaria!

Kartalа waterfalls are located near the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. You can reach them on a path from the Transfiguration Monastery or from the city itself. We took the path that leads from the Kartala neighborhood in Veliko Tarnovo and parked next to the Kartala shooting range.

Momina rock is a natural phenomenon in the Rhodopes, with breathtaking sheer and high cliffs. The place is very suitable for a day walk in nature and is only about 20 kilometers from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The path to the picturesque canyon is located about an hour's walk from the center of the village of Izvor.

The early byzantine and medieval fortress Hotalich is located near the town of Sevlievo, above the gorge of the river Rositsa, on a hilly area called Krushevski bair. It is one of the best maintained fortresses in Bulgaria, and in 1994 it was declared a cultural monument of national importance.

The Asar Kaya area is located less than two kilometers from the village of Zhenda, Chernoochene municipality, Kardzhali district, Bulgaria. The fortress is located on top of a high rock terrace, which is built of piles of stones, on which you can see many rock niches typical of the region. It is believed that the place has been sacred since the time of the thracians.

A magical place with an amazing view that will charge you with a lot of positive energy. Among the rock forms you can recognize stone mushrooms, figures of animals, faces and the characteristic for the Eastern Rhodopes trapezoidal rock niches, whose purpose remains a mystery.

Bekov Rocks and the Red Rock are located in the Rhodope mountains near the village of Ravnogor, Bratsigovo municipality, Pazardzhik district, Bulgaria. They are a great destination for an easy and pleasant walk for a day with amazing and impressive natural views of the Western Rhodopes and Vacha dam.
