The natural phenomenon Stone Mushrooms is a landmark that is worth visiting if you pass near the village of Beli Plast (which is located next to the road Haskovo-Kardzhali). They are also known as Rock Mushrooms, and the locals call them Mantarkaya.

Stone mushrooms are rock formations that, due to erosion, resemble the shape of mushrooms. They are about 2.5 meters high, their hats have a greenish tinge, and the stumps - pink, due to their mineral composition. They were declared a natural landmark in 1974.

Interestingly, while travelling to them, there was only vegetation around, I did not see any large stones, as happened in other similar areas. I even thought that Google Maps would not take us to the right place again, but after a turn, it was as if they came out of nowhere. There is no parking and entrance fee, but there is a place to stop by the road. They do not take up much space and will not take much of your time, but it is definitely worth seeing live.
