In Novo Selo, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, you can visit the "Center for Amusement and cultural activities" or also called "Museum of the world - from creation to the present day". The unique thing in my opinion is that everything here is built by the personal resources and the work of the people from the village. A great place to walk with children. It is impressive how much work people have done and how well the result has been obtained. There is a separate place for barbecue and tables, over which there is a canopy (can be seen from the photos below in the gallery). People have also thought about the bins of garbage, unfortunately it does not bother under the tables to be full of plastic bottles and cylinders...
Some of the things you can see there are the exhibits of dinosaurs, monkeys, a medieval castle, a statue of the Thracian god Heros, a family of Neanderthals, knights, rocket, military cannons from the first and Second World War, etc. The St. Lydia Chapel was built, which was locked at the time of our visit.
The entrance is free. There is a parking lot right next to the center.
Swallows Waterfall is located near the village of Doloslav, Asenovgrad municipality, Bulgaria. According to local people, his name comes from hard-to-reach terrain, which is why only swallows could get to him.
ExploreThe Asar Kaya area is located less than two kilometers from the village of Zhenda, Chernoochene municipality, Kardzhali district, Bulgaria. The fortress is located on top of a high rock terrace, which is built of piles of stones, on which you can see many rock niches typical of the region. It is believed that the place has been sacred since the time of the thracians.
