No knead garlic focaccia, which is super easy to prepare.

10 min preparation

1h 10min rising

200°C

20 min baking

Description

1 In a bowl, put the water along with the yeast and sugar. Beat and leave in a warm place for about 5-10 minutes to activate the yeast.

2 Beat the egg with olive oil and add to the water with the yeast.

3 In a large bowl, place the flour with the salt and liquid ingredients. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, stir until a sticky dough is obtained. Cover the bowl with a towel and leave to rise for about 1 hour. To speed up the process, you can preheat the oven to 50 degrees, then put the dough in it and turn the oven off.

4 Meanwhile, melt the butter in a water bath. Add the pressed cloves of garlic and parsley to it.

5 Once the dough has risen, mix it again with a spatula. Pour the mixture into a well-greased baking tray measuring 37x44 cm and spread it carefully with greased hands. Spread the melted butter with garlic and parsley and leave to rise for about 10 minutes.

6 Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the garlic focaccia acquires a pleasant golden crust.
